It has a cosy, modern living space, fully equipped galley kitchen, separate double bedroom and bathroom with over bath shower. All the furniture is new including a pocket sprung double mattress. There is a sheltered patio area to the rear which catches the afternoon and evening sun. Included are free broadband WiFi, smart tv, fridge freezer, washing machine and cosy underfloor heating.

The HideawayClose to Donnington Castle in Newbury, our place is a converted garage on the side of our house, with separate access round the back of the house, and off road parking for our guests. It is light and airy with a large window and separate entrance. There is a shower room and toilet, and a small kitchen area with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave for simple meals. Excellent access to the M4 and A34 and public transport.

London Paddington is approximately 45 minutes from Newbury by train.

We live in a wonderfully peaceful part of the country. We are in a rural setting but only 5-10 mins from Newbury with good links to Oxford, Reading and Swindon. London is only 55 mins on the train. The accommodation is a wooden-clad private guest annexe that has recently been renovated for such use. Downstairs is the kitchen area (with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher) and shower room. Lounge area/bedroom with king size bed is upstairs. Free Wi-Fi provided.

Log cabin in beautiful countryside

Our log cabin is a self contained unit at the bottom of our garden. There is one large living area, which has a double bed, sofa and basic cooking facilities. The bathroom has a toilet and shower. The village pub is less than a 5 minute walk and serves great pub food (though currently closed on a Monday due to Covid-19 )Lovely countryside walks are on your doorstep. Pool is currently shut, but will re- open in May 2021.

Lovely self-contained annex, pets welcome

A lovely self-contained annexe furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle, where Downtown Abbey was filmed. Secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The annexe is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.
