Welcome to our private guest house in our most beautiful Historic homestead (formerly Old Cran House) You have complete privacy and a separate entrance along a paved pathway to the front entrance. Avalon on Bourbong was built in 1894 by renowned architect FH Faircloth for the local Sugar baron Robert Cran. We chose to rename it after our daughter Avalon as she is like sunshine entering the room, also respecting our local indigenous who endured less than ideal working conditions under Mr Cran.

My place is close to the city, Bargara beaches, Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, the River Feast Markets, Mon Rops turtle rookery and the best seafood restaurant on the river, where you can dine in or take away and take a cruise to the Port. You’ll love my place because of the location, so close to everything and no noisy traffic, it is very quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. You really do need a car to get around. We do have Uber and Cabs.

Welcome to our Studio apartment it is peaceful and centrally located . The Studio is fully self contained with a private seating area. It is not attached to the main house, but still close enough to the house we live in. I can provide a travel cot for an infant if required. The studio set back from the road. The rear garden offers a shady area to relax. There is off road parking Only 15 minutes drive to a number of beautiful safe beaches and parks.
