The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Century House - Thoresby Estate

Century House is situated just outside the entirely private and gated Estate village of Perlethorpe, situated at the heart of Thoresby Estate. Thoresby was one of the four country Ducal Estates which gave the nickname Dukeries to the area due to the high number of Dukes who lived in the area, and is still owned by the Pierrepont family today. Century House was built in 19th Century and was traditionally home to the Estate Land Agent with the last Agent leaving in 2019.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
