Hanok Stay “Hwaeng (Flower Response)”

Hwaeng is located in the middle of Jeonju, in Taepyeong-dong, Wansan-gu. Taepyeong-dong was the center of transportation and commercial district with the first Jeonju Station and Yeoncho Manufacturing Building in the past, and it was built in 1969 with 50m2 in the residential alley, a village of merchants, utilizing the flood and geography at that time. Nowadays, the buildings of the past are disappearing and apartments and modern buildings are being built, but Hwaeng () was designed as a private stay for reflection as it was at that time. The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt. In order to embody the flower that runs through Hwaeng, it is expressed concisely and clearly without losing the balance of yin and yang, and the beauty of symmetry and modernity, based on the materials that embodied the image of the Korean flower in the past. A flower in the city center, it responds with that flower.

Here, I want to share with you the precious items I have collected for a long time. Those props that embrace different traditions and stories will add a special meaning to this space. The old lighthouse staircase from the Czech Republic captures its own beauty and as you climb it, we feel like we are traveling at the same time as the past and the present. In addition, the combination of the most Korean landscaping that blends with the unique wooden columns and toenmaru of hanok has a deeper story over time. Meet the traditional beauty of a hanok and the unique aesthetic of Korea, and share my story in this place where you can complete a new level of depth.

Naseojin Hanok

[Naseojin Hanok] In February 2022, we added a new jacuzzi to our Naesejin Hanok. We prepared it so that you can feel the open-air bath, and added a hot water maintenance device so that you can use the bath without being cold even in the middle of winter. The exterior looks like an old country house, but the interior is designed to avoid any inconvenience. It is a space that can only be used by one team of guests who have made a reservation, and it is a space where you can take a short break and go, so I think it would be nice to come. Nearby, Songhyunbul Meat, which appeared in the Three Heavenly Kings, is a 3-minute drive away, and There are downtown and Gomtang Street, so there will be no big inconvenience when you eat or shop. Things to note * This is a space that I share with my children. Therefore, please do not smoke in any space other than our accommodation.

Hanok private house 'Owol', 6 minutes on foot from Hanok Village parking lot

Owol is a lodging that has the convenience and comfort while still living in the style of Hanok. First, when you open the gate and enter, fresh flowers and trees will greet you. It's in a quiet alley, so at night you can escape the noise of the city and have a cozy time. There is a jacuzzi indoors, and there is also a kitchen where you can cook simple meals. It takes about 6 minutes to walk to the public parking lot in Hanok Village. There is no dedicated parking lot, but we will also guide you to a space where you can park for free in front of the house. You'll have a great time here without being disturbed by anyone else.
