A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Charming Farmhouse, Brooksville, ME

Herrick Rd. is a beautiful 1900 farmhouse with a very simple, back to basic style. The house looks over Walker Pond (across the street) and echoes wonderful songs of the loon in the mornings. The house has all the basics you will need, and a fully equipped kitchen, including Lobster pots for the stove or outdoor fire pit. There is s gas grill as well. The kitchen stove is an old 3 burner gas unit. It is very basic and very simple to use. There is also a microwave and coffee makers.

Behind us is only woods and there are miles of lovely nature trails accessed from the bottom of our field. It's only a 2 mile drive to the center of town Enjoy!
