Lovely cottage from the 19th century with exposed beams and original tiles. Large garden, near the river with a barbecue area and garden furniture. Quiet environment in the countryside, all commodities, supermarkets, boulangeries as well as local towns markets are 5 minutes away. A lovely summer restaurant by the river is within short distance. Various hiking and cycling trails nearby ("La Loire à vélo" goes nearby our house), as well as vineyards and castles to visit. Performing wifi.

Charming and spacious 2 bedroom cottage with pool.

Located in the Anjou wine region, this rustic 100m2 cottage equipped with all modern amenities is part of an old winegrowers property called 'Closerie Les Roches.' We are close to all conveniences and charming villages and towns such as Montreuil-Bellay and Saumur. Visit local wineries, explore famous Loire valley castles, visit the award-winning Doué-la-Fontaine zoo or just stroll among the vines right outside the property. We also offer dinner for our guests twice a week.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish, comfortable space. Double bed, sofa bed (1 person) TV. Close to the river, hiking trails, close to shops and services. 15 km from Angers and the banks of the Loire, Terra Botanica Park, Aqua Vita. Many sites within 2 hours: Doué-en-Anjou Biopark, Puy du Fou, the Ocean, Futuroscope. weekly rental from Saturday to Saturday €353, bath, kitchen and bedroom linen included. End-of-stay cleaning is €10. Overnight stay €58, minimum 3 nights.

We are Lydia and Lionel, our cottage is nestled 2 steps from the Loire in the heart of Anjou between the tuffeau houses of Saumurois, the slates of Trélazé, the vineyards of the Layon hillsides, the castles of the Loire, the beautiful bike and hiking trails along the Loire as well as canoeing on the Loire. Le Cottage du Figuier opens onto a lovely tranquil and private garden with garden furniture and sunbathing armchairs. Well-equipped for cooking, better than a kitchinette, excellent bed and charm assured! It is part of the outbuildings of the Château de la Giraudière, in a 15-hectare park, a walk in the woods and meadows that go down to the small fish pond. Large swimming pool heated only in the summer (12.5m x 5.5m) and shared but never overloaded !

The downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom The two upstairs bedrooms have zip and link beds, so they can be set up as two single beds or one super king bed. Relax within 7 acres of outside space, including a heated outdoor pool (shared with Poplar House and heated from mid-May to mid-September), table tennis, badminton and bikes.
