Located up the private drive of Halton Shaws is the former Coach House, Wych House. Built in 1897 to house the horses of Halton Lodge this impressive dwelling enjoys a quiet spot close to the center of the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint. In 2019 the Nelson family moved in and set about renovating this beautiful Victorian property. Separate from the main house and accessed through the double garage doors is Wee Wych. This immaculately finished annexe is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite.

Adjacent to the South Downs National park, with a pub/restaurant close by and easy access to Lewes and Brighton. Bear in mind we aren't served by good public transport. Walk 10 minutes down the road to the Seven Dials, there are Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Hog Roast and French restaurants.

Kenningham

This is a detached converted garage with a bedroom and a shower room in a lovely part of town. It is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lewes, 15 minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes walk from the South Downs. There is a private entrance around the side of the main house, with a key safe box by the door. It is not appropriate for people with mobility issues however, as there is a step at the entrance. Guests can use the offstreet parking in front of the house.

The Nook is a bright & well equipped double ensuite guest unit, with a separate private entry and off road parking for 1 car. The room has Wi-Fi, a King size bed, cotton bedding, new mattress & fluffy towels. The ensuite has a lovely electric shower with rain shower head. We provide a cool box with chilled water, milk, tea, coffee, porridge pots & biscuits. We are in a quiet, safe area. The seafront is a 5 minute walk and there's regular buses into town a minute walk away.

South Downs Way Loft ( Tinpots)

The South Downs Loft We’re situated in the South Downs National Park on the South Downs Way half way between Winchester & Eastbourne. Ideal for those who are walking/cycling the SDW. The loft is bright & comfortable. Ideally for 2 adults, but a 3rd adult/child can be catered for. There is a king bed, kitchenette, shower room, a couple of comfy chairs & tv. Patio doors to a deck, BBQ, with stunning views onto the surrounding fields. Here you can see the free range pigs.

The property is a loft conversion on the first floor of our bungalow, nestled in Portslade village, overlooking the park. It offers spacious open plan living area and is perfect for couples. We are Graham and Shizuka, our two daughters and our sociable Persian cat Saffy. We are offering a comfortable double room with its own entrance in our detached house in a quiet road on the outskirts of Lewes. There is parking in our driveway. 5 minutes walk north or south from the house takes you out onto the Downs yet the town centre is just 20 minutes away.
