The main room is cozy with a big skylight, comfortable queen bed, swivel chair, and desk and chair. There is a small kitchenette. Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

Explore the historic island of Alameda, quick ferry or bus ride to S.F. We are close to Webster St shopping , restaurants and pubs. Alameda is great for walking with many beautiful Victorian homes. We are two blocks from Crown Beach. Also we are one block from the 51A bus stop and one block from the O bus stop. 51A can take you into Oakland and also to the Bart line. The O bus goes directly to SF Sales Force terminal and we are a mile from the SF/Alameda Ferry

The cottage has a chef’s kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom, comfortable mattress and couch. You have a private patio out front, Nespresso maker and pods for those coffee drinkers, and a Smart TV for endless streaming. There are two skylights and French doors which provide lots of light.
