Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one b and b space.

B&B Thús yn Hantum is located on a terp on the edge of the North Frisian village of Hantum, close to the cozy town of Dokkum, which is one of the Frisian Elfstedentocht cities. Around the corner is the Lauwersmeer National Park. This has been rated the most beautiful nature reserve in the Netherlands. The UNESCO World Heritage of the Wadden Sea can also be reached within minutes. You will find with us the peace and quiet to enjoy with views over the countryside and the mill of Hantum and the Stoepa.

Guesthouse in the North Frisian countryside

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Holiday home Oer it Fjild ,a unique location, at the bottom of the old sea dyke, near the Wadden Sea (Unesco World Heritage). Non-smoking, no pets. There is a private parking lot, terrace (BBQ) and canopy/bicycle shed. The house is not intended for celebrating young people . Due to open stairs not suitable for young children. Oer it Fjild is intended for people who enjoy escaping the hustle and bustle for a while and love the countryside and peace. Changeover days Mondays and Fridays.

The peace and space of Friesland and the coziness of the eleven city of Dokkum are a 5-minute bike away. You will find that in this renovated cottage. The guesthouse is in the yard of an authentic Frisian head-and-neck farmhouse, is detached and has its own terrace. This ensures peace and privacy. The farm is out of business. Over the years, a beautiful bio diverse (picking)garden has been created. Guests are welcome to pick a flower, fruit or fresh herbs.
