Cozy guesthouse in the community of Sommen

In our guest house, built in 2020, measuring about 40 square metres, we have used the space for socialising and gatherings during the day, which transforms into 6 comfortable sleeping places at night. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with, for example, a combined oven/microwave, extractor fan, fridge-freezer, and crockery for 6 people. In the house there is a fresh bathroom with toilet and shower. On the veranda, there are chairs, a small table and a barbecue. Guests are responsible for cleaning grill. There is access to a "private" lawn with garden furniture and a trampoline.

Tree house - in the heart of nature

In a forest edge on our farm overlooking vast fields, you can enjoy seclusion surrounded by the branches and foliage of the trees. The simple building stands on a plateau 2-3 meters above the ground between tree trunks. The branches of the trees form a roof over the small patio with a simple outdoor kitchen in front of the tent. You are completely off the grid but have access to a refrigerator and electricity at our farm where you can park, or borrow a cooler for food you bring with you. Private toilet with dry toilet and outdoor shower is 100 meters from the property.

Stay between lake & forest, with chickens & horses outside!

There is nothing here and yet everything; like camping indoors! The small log cabin, without electricity or running water, is nestled in greenery, where you sleep in a comfortable, single bed and look out over horse pastures, the lake and the forest. Barbecue and bed linen are included. 250 meters away there are public toilets and a small swimming lake where there is free parking. If you have ordered breakfast, it is served with goodies from the farm. Want to meditate, ride or hang out with the animals? Hiking in the woods? Enjoying the silence? Anything is possible!

Welcome to our newly built guest house, which is located in a quiet and scenic location in the middle of a lively countryside about 20 km southwest of Linköping and about 15 minutes from the E4. In the guest house, there are beds for four people and a sofa bed for two people. As day trips, we recommend Kolmården Zoo, Astrid Lindgren's World, Omberg, Gränna/Visingsö. The author and artist Gunnar Brusewitz lived here and studied Tåkern and its nature in the spring of 1940.
