Climate-smart small cabin

Between Nybro and Kalmar is our little cottage. It is newly renovated, simple standard with outdoor toilet (separate). The kitchen is well-equipped with kitchen accessories and wood-burning stove as well as refrigerator. In the garden, there is garden furniture and a barbecue grill, an outdoor shower where you can shower under the open sky. The cabin is equipped with solar cells that provide limited but sufficient electricity for for example, refrigerator and lighting. The cottage is not suitable for families with children/people with disabilities due to the sleeping loft with a steep staircase.

Close to hiking trails and beautiful nature. Only 1.5 km walking distance to a larger campground, Vita Sand, with nice swimming, street kitchen and large playground. Bed linens and towels are not included. Pillows and duvets are provided. Smoking and pets are not allowed. The tenant is responsible for final cleaning before check-out.

Vickleby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The well-preserved and picturesque village street is an attraction and is counted as one of the finest on Öland. The designer Carl Malmsten founded his school Capellagården in Vickley with an artistic focus. The facility is open to visitors and one of Öland's most visited tourist destinations. There is a café and a shop with nice handicraft products and home-grown plants for sale. Vicklebyalvaret attracts many flower lovers. In May, a sea of orchids spreads out.

Eriksöre is located about 6 km from Färjestaden south and is an excellent starting point for bike trips and walks. Many beaches with nice swimming are at close range. Golf courses such as Grönhögen, Saxnäs, Ekerum and Kalmar can be reached within 30 minutes by car. The well-known bird station Ottenby is reached by car within 40 minutes.

Only 15 meters from the ocean and 10 minutes from central Kalmar you find this newly built cottage. Modern amenities close to the best of nature.

And an English wood-burning stove from Salamander Stove. Dogs are welcome. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a gas grill, coffee maker, cooler with USB socket for mobile charging. Linen and towel included. Children up to the age of 12 stay free of charge in the company of an adult.
