Sommartid finns 9 håls golfbana, cykelleder på skogsstigar och down hill. Finns även fin vandring i skogarna i Järvsö med omnejd. Ca 500 m från boendet finns en badstrand vid Ljusnans vatten. Till Harsa är det ca 11 km, där finns fin fin längdåkning på vintern och vandring på sommaren.

Längdspår finns ca 80 meter från Lodgen, eller 14 km till populära och snösäkra Harsa. Om man väljer att inte laga mat själv, finns det ett antal mycket bra restauranger i Järvsö. Stor bastu med utsikt över Ljusnan, ett bibliotek med öppen spis och soffor och biljardbord.
