Genuine Smålandsstuga near Lake Bolmen

Östergård is a house with history where you live comfortably but with old-fashioned charm. Lake Bolmen is a few hundred meters from the farm and within walking distance you reach lovely beaches or the boat that you can borrow if you want to go out and try your luck fishing. The house has a spacious garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining area, a large living room, a smaller room and a lovely veranda. On the upper floor there are both bedrooms with four beds, bathroom and toilet.

In the house there are all amenities such as modern kitchen with pots, pans, bowls, dishes, cutlery and crockery, bathroom with shower, TV, Wifi, and glassed-in patio with lake view. There is a possibility to wash clothes in the washroom inside the bathroom. Relax in this unique and quiet home with access to its own beach and swimming. Possibility of fishing. Rowing boat 440 cm for 4 persons is included. Boat motor 5HK can be rented for 1800 SEK/week.

Bergsbo Lodge

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Here you live in a cozy house on our farm, the view is stunning and it's not impossible to see deer and moose grazing in the field. At the back there is a large deck where you see the sun rise. Proximity to lakes with fishing (fishing license needed) and forest, 9km to central Halmstad and 7km to Hallarna where there are also restaurants. If you want to get to the sea, there are several nice beaches within 15 minutes drive. Breakfast can be booked the night before.

Surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes this modern and winterproof country house invites you to get away from it all to enjoy the wonderful undisturbed nature, perfect for bathing, fishing, cycling and gathering berries and mushrooms. The house is continuously maintained. In 2024, the veranda roof was renewed and an odorless biological sewage treatment plant and EV charging station were installed - before that, among other things, a new fridge-freezer, stove, induction hob and dishwasher.

My house is adorable, next to a lake. It's peacefull, lots of windows. You can take the canoe , paddling ower the lake, or just sit and relax on the deck. Cold days, sit inside by the fireplace, read, eat a nice dinner in one off the rooms with windows owerlooking the lake. Small bedrooms,leaning walls , give you a feeling off going back 100 years in old sweden, when the house was built. You can not swim from my garden, but 200m from my house is a beach. My house is in a small village.

A large island in the middle of Lake Bolmen, Bolsmö. In the northern tip, a neighborhood, Håringe. On the hill, a typical Swedish stuga. View from the terrace to the lake 200 meters away. The light of the sunrise through the large living room windows. The open living and dining area is the center in every season. The stuga is set up in such a way that my family and I are always happy to be there. It takes longer to get somewhere, but why do you want that?
