Live the “simple” life on the Baltic: in a solar-powered workman’s hut. The idyllic hamlet of Klützer Winkel is 20 km east of Lübeck, Germany, 6 km west of Boltenhagen, and only ten minutes’ walk from the unspoiled Baltic coastline. Our natural refuge (3500 sq.m./over 37,000 sq.ft.) is nestled among hilly meadows, woodlands, beaches, and some nearby seaside cliffs. Our owner-run plot of land has many fruit trees and other trees, blackberry bushes and shrubs. Pristine meadows directly around the property are crisscrossed by narrow pathways. You can set up your own place to sit, and there is a central terrace with barbecue. Facing the south, the vintage workman’s hut (20 square meter/215 square feet) was converted into a cocoon of living space with virtually no environmental footprint. Its separate bedroom, kitchen and roomy living area are supplemented by a 14 square meter (150 square foot) veranda facing west. All the flooring is larch. All electricity is solar generated with water supply from on board tanks or at the nearby “bathhouse” on the same plot with its solar-powered shower. A wood-burning stove can be used in colder weather. Details: 12VDC power supply, intermittent 220V/80W power with converter, DVB-T TV, radio and DVD player, refrigerator, two-plate gas cooker, and sink. Since 2016 we got a supplementary nonsolar power supply i.e. to have a shower without sun. Plus we offer: Bicycle and bed linen rental (please confirm in advance), drawing and painting kits, arts and crafts equipment, beach utensils. Plus the chance to pick and process cherries, blackberries, pears, and apples (all according to the season and availability, for a small fee) Klützer Winkel also offers many leisure, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

Lindenhaus for up to 14 people on Gut Güldenstein

Opening on May 13, 2026 Our fully renovated Lindenhaus, which can accommodate up to 14 people, will be available for rent starting May 13, 2026. The Lindenhaus, with its own large garden and beautiful terrace, is located in the idyllic village of Güldenstein, with sweeping views over the surrounding fields. In addition to the kitchen, living/dining room, guest toilet, and utility room, a double and a twin bedroom on the ground floor share a shower room. On the upper floor, there are five double-bed rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The holiday home is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, is 200 years old and was formerly the same. Ice house of the manor house. It was completely renovated in 2017. The sauna, canoe, rowing boat and stand-up paddle board, as well as a table tennis table and badminton equipment, can be used free of charge. Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. You can fish or swim from the jetty or the boat. To the Baltic Sea, to Schwerin as well as to Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km.
