You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-burning stove, a sauna in the woods and the cat Doris will be happy to stay with you if you want company.

Enjoy the private sauna overlooking the lake, in the house with close connection to the log cabin. Inside the cabin, there is a fireplace where you can light a cozy fire in the evening.

Here you have lake Saljen close by (2km) where you can swim and fish. There are several walking trails directly from the house. In the beautiful garden we have a fire pit for grill evenings. From spring we will rent out our canoe. Go skiing, visit Astrid Lindgren park, visit a moose park or go down the zippline.

Our house is located in the middle of the forest and yet only 3 km from the small town of Högsby, where you will find all the things you need every day. History: Our farm was built in the early 1900s by Caroline's great-grandfather Erik. Our residential house was built in 1908, the following years the rest of the buildings. In 1925, the small cottage was used as a small farmhand's house, while the upper floor and the part where the kitchen is now was storage and a granary. In the early 1980s, it was converted into a residence, then by Caroline's grandfather Nils. Enjoy a large garden, cozy cottage only 80 meters from the beach.
