Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Sole occupancy of this home. Freshly decorated to a high standard with modern appliances and plenty of room with a cosy atmosphere throughout. All rooms are light and pleasantly comfortable. Sleeps three with one double room with kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom and one single room and a second bathroom with shower. Living room with log fire. Oil central heated. Lots of storage for bikes, fishing gear, ample parking and outdoor area (not enclosed) for sitting and enjoying the enviable views.

Eskfield, spa cottage with private walled garden

Eskfield is food for the soul, a fabulous, ancient property immersed in nature to provide a wellness experience like no other. Stay here in one of the most important features of the Penicuik Designed Landscape, a Palladian house built in 1714, harboured within a one and a half hectare walled garden. With a burn running through a beautiful wildflower meadow, this is a nature sanctuary that you will not want to leave. Nestled in the outhouses is a sauna leading to a handmade cedar hot tub.

A car is recommended, you will be a 6 minute drive from the village of West Linton which is in easy reach of Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. There are plenty of scenic walks from the doorstep or relax and enjoy the woodburning stove and the views.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

There is a large driveway for up to 4 cars and a locked shed for bicycles. The cottage has two King Sized beds, large living dining area, fully fitted kitchen and a large walk in shower. The cottage is the perfect place to stay when attending weddings, a base for work or just a few days away. It is a real home from home.

Ord’s Loft - Old Town Historic Apartment

Ord’s Loft, situated in White Horse Close, is one of the most desirable and unique properties in Edinburgh’s old town. Positioned on the top floor of what was once the White Horse Coaching Inn, built by Laurence Ord in 1624, the loft is entered by the iconic steps seen in so many photos of Edinburgh. The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
