Cottage near "Yellow Pumpkin" in Seto Inland Sea National Park - Kai (Ocean Side) - Rental Cottage

This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art. There are two buildings, one on the ocean side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the building on the ocean side. Free parking is available on site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a detached two-story building, with 6 beds in the bedroom on the ground floor and 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, accommodating up to 6-8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used not only for family and friends, but also for student training camps, seminar trips, etc. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to the Venetian Art Site and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying on Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in an interior with plenty of wood, handled by a local contractor.

It is limited to one group per day and can accommodate up to 4 people. You can stay with your dog (but you can put it in the cage in the tatami room). It is the only stay facility around Shin-Onomichi Station. Our stay facility is a traditional Japanese style house and you will stay in the main building. The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.

広島市内では現存の数少ない戦後間も無く建てられた書院造りの純和風建築物です。大通りから一歩入り静かな環境で、小さいながら和風庭園もありゆっくりと寛げます。 1945年8月6日の広島原子爆弾投下による熱で一部溶けた壺や、約100年前の時代の写真など 舞ハウスにしか置いてない物もあります。 建具やｶﾞﾗｽは70年以上前の当時のものもあり､特に２つの庭や、床の間・書院など日本家屋の情緒が感じられるものです｡ 5ある部屋は､３つが畳部屋で､就寝時も畳の上に布団を敷いてお休みください。 こちらのお部屋は､広島の南区に位置しており、市内電車一本で 最寄り駅電停①からは広島駅まで約20分 最寄り駅電停②からは平和記念公園､原爆ﾄﾞｰﾑ､広島国際会議場、20~30分程度で到着いたします｡ タクシーでは、10分程度の移動となります。 目の前には、衣食住が揃う 大型ショッピングモール　ゆめタウン広島、コンビニエンスストア（セブンイレブン、ファミリーマート）飲食店（お好み焼き、ラーメン、寿司、焼肉、ワッフル、ベーカリーショップ等々）徒歩圏内にあります。
