Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

If you love tranquil cozy cabins in the woods, you will love Sylvatica Ecolodge! Sylvatica is a latin word meaning "of the forest" and this lodge is exactly that. It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The Artist's Cottage is sacred to me, and I am so happy that I get to share it with you. This cottage is a space I go to be free of the daily hustle and bustle. Minimal cell service makes for a relaxing and quiet time to replenish the nervous system and get in tune with the land here. Don't worry, we have wifi. 😅
