Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Located just off the main street of Haverigg its the perfect location to explore the beach just around the corner (2min walk) Shop, Chippy and Pub 1 minute walk away. Aqua park and Nature reserve is also close by. We are also a good base for exploring the lake district with Coniston only being a 35min drive. Scafell Pike is close by too with a 45min drive. Located a short stroll from the centre of the busy market town you are close to a range of great independent pubs, restaurants and shops. With local bus and train services close by it makes a perfect base to explore the Lakes and surrounding areas.

Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.
