This unique, daylight basement apartment has a private entrance, plenty of windows and natural light, that will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Situated just off the beaten path, surrounded by trees and only a 3 minute walk from sandy and swimmable Lincolnville beach, a deli, seafood, coffee roaster, shops and the Islesboro ferry terminal. Plenty of nearby hiking trails and a short drive from to the charming, small coastal cities of Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland.

"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

Additionally, we are surrounded by many beautiful lakes and ponds that offer ice fishing in the winter months and boating, swimming, kayaking, hiking and many more great activities in the summer months!

The Midcoast is home to the award-winning North Atlantic Blues Festival in July, the world famous Maine Lobster Festival at the beginning of August, and the National Toboggan Races in February at the Camden Snow Bowl where winter enthusiasts can see the ocean from the peak. We would love to be your home away from home as you explore Vacationland.

Queen bed cabin, The Anchorage 4

Cabin 4 "Christmas Cove" is named for our favorite anchorage in the United States Virgin Islands. It's a great spot for snorkeling and grabbing a pizza at Pizza Pi. Christmas Cove is a small cabin perfect for a couple exploring Maine's mid-coast. She comes complete with a Queen Size bed, Keurig and complimentary coffee pods. While she doesn't have a porch, guests are welcome to enjoy the common area by the creek. When permits allow, we will try and setup a fire.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
