'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

⸻ Rim is a space that delicately captures beauty in a traditional hanok. The soft light coming in through the window and the texture of the high quality, which stands out even more because of it, resemble the floor of a quiet hanok. Here, I want to share with you the precious items I have collected for a long time. Those props that embrace different traditions and stories will add a special meaning to this space. The old lighthouse staircase from the Czech Republic captures its own beauty and as you climb it, we feel like we are traveling at the same time as the past and the present. In addition, the combination of the most Korean landscaping that blends with the unique wooden columns and toenmaru of hanok has a deeper story over time. Meet the traditional beauty of a hanok and the unique aesthetic of Korea, and share my story in this place where you can complete a new level of depth.

It is located between downtown Seogwipo and Jungmun, with a view of the sea in the front and Hallasan Mountain in the back. There is an E-mart nearby and Eongto Falls where water flows when it rains. It is located on a middle-mountainous road, so you can easily find it, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of Jeju Island with the surrounding tangerine fields. In the morning the sea can be seen in the distance and at night there are many stars. It has been 10 years since I moved to Jeju Island. We live with unparalleled satisfaction throughout our lives. Starting in 2019, we're building a new home in front of us.
