The house has its own plot with a lawn, patio, and a small arbor. The area around the house is open and situated in a sunny location. The house has access to its own boat dock where you can fish and swim. At the dock, there are rowboats and canoes available for use from May to September.

If you want to experience the lake you can borrow two canoes for free during your stay.
