This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The nearest neighbours are Andenes Lighthouse, Whale Safari, the Polar Museum, and Whale2sea. The view from the kitchen table is absolutely stunning. The place is located right on the outskirts of Andenes city center and it is a short walk to everything. Until June 2027, "The Whale" will be built on the neighbouring property. Some noise must be expected during the day. The Andenes Lighthouse is being renovated. This is to be sandblasted and painted. Cleaning help can be booked no later than the day before you leave. 500 NOK Garage ceiling living room is closed between October 1st to June 1st. By the lake there is a swimming area and barbecue area. Here you can try your luck at fishing. Sun from morning to late evening summer time.

If you are driving by on your way to Senja, Lofoten or Andøy. This can be an excellent place for a rest. With beautiful views, excellent hiking possibilities and hunting and fishing right outside your front door.

House of Hulda - a place for rest and inspiration.

A little house off the beaten track, between mountain and ocean. It has everything you need for a peaceful retreat and a chance to recharge in nature’s embrace. Built after the war by a woman named Hulda, it’s still known to the locals as “Hulda-huset.” My husband and I spent a year renovating it with local materials, honouring its original design. Today, it also serves as an Artist Residency, with artworks from past and future guests gradually filling its walls.
