The cabin is located at 700 meters above sea level and was built in 1977, but has been renovated in several stages. It has a year-round road and is in the immediate vicinity of uphill ski slopes towards Tronfjell or to Tynset city centre. The cabin is located in the middle of a cabin field, without any transparency and in the immediate vicinity of the mountain, pristine forest, open spaces and several small lakes. It is ideal for cycling, skiing and berry rides. In addition, the official bathing area of the municipality is only a kilometre away with a beach, barbecue and volleyball court.

The cabin is located about 5 minutes by car from Savalen Fjellhotell and Spa with a wellness pool, ski and toboggan slope and the very house of Santa Claus. The cabin is also a good starting point for hiking or skiing, cycling and horse riding. The cabin is located just above Savalsjøen where you can paddle, swim and fish. In the cottage you will find some toys for smaller children, drawing materials and various board games. Dogs are allowed.

The bedrooms are equipped with bed linen, and the kitchen with all the kitchen equipment you need. The place has several outdoor seating areas, including a fire pit and an older rowing boat. The out app provides a good overview of all the hiking opportunities that surround the cabin. If you are a dog person, you are also allowed to bring your four-legged friend!

Welcome to Jonsbu at Glomma. A cozy log cabin with 3 sleeping places, kitchenette and dining area. Heating with power and firewood. Bed linen is included. No running water, but drinking water can be collected from the outdoor tap. Biotoilet in a separate house. The cabin is located in a courtyard, warm and quiet in the woods along a side road, 5 min from road 3. Free parking in the yard in summer and winter. If you plan to spend a few nights in Alvdal, there are many nice hiking trails in the area, and ski trails in the winter.

Traditional seter cottage in a quiet seter alley. In summer, grazing cows and sheep go outside the fences, in winter it is quiet and peaceful. Perfect for disconnecting and enjoying a quiet life! The farm is mostly disconnected from everything modern - it has a simple standard with an outdoor toilet, light from solar cells and water in the outdoor tap. Cooking is done on a wood-burning stove, gas burner or campfire pan. There is many good hiking opportunities from the farmhouse both in the forest and along the road.

Good views, right towards Rondane, good hiking opportunities for both hikes in the mountains, bike rides and runs. Well-marked trails and ski slopes just outside the cabin. In the summer there is a nice sandy beach with possibilities for swimming, if there is bad weather the spa and pool department at Savalen high mountain hotel can be used. Here you can also have a better dinner, or buy an ice cream. Nice alpine slope five minutes by car. Horse center nearby with opportunities for riding lessons and canoeing.

Østerdalsstue at Kvebergshaugen

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dog, next to the house where we live ourselves. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city centre and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored oyster valley living room from the 1800s, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, press pot and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of 300 kr covers only the preparation of the rental unit and not the final cleaning.

Welcome to Storrøsta! This is a refurbished farmhouse, originally built in 1937. It's located off the beaten track in the middle of nature. Storrøsta is a quiet retreat, overlooking the mountains and valley. Enjoy the silence and view at sunset from the patio or the living room - if you're lucky you'll have a moose visiting! The place is also great for kids. There's a trampoline and a slack line available in the summer, as well as outdoor games and bikes free for you to borrow.
