In the winter you can take advantage of the slalom slope which is right next door, just put on the slalom skis and start right on the trail or go cross-country skiing in scenic surroundings. It is also a nice and quiet place where you can relax with a good book,TV bonfire outside, etc. The northern lights can be seen often in winter 😀 In the summer, there are many opportunities for hiking in the mountains and fields, and in the autumn, it is a great area for picking berries and mushrooms.

This place has stunning views over the Altafjord. In the winter, the Northern Lights often shine right into the living room. It is centrally located in a quiet street and has walking distance to Alta city center (7 min) and UiT (12 min). 5 min walk to grocery store. The home has an associated outdoor area with plating and garden, where in the summer you can enjoy late evenings in the midnight sun. The apartment is equipped with a cot and high chair, and is fine for families with children.
