Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. Nestled in the protected valley of the Whiteadder Water only 250m from the river with its salmon and trout fishing, lie “ Heather” and “Thyme”, our two high quality, traditionally styled luxurious shepherds huts. This is a largely undiscovered part of Berwickshire yet the beautiful Borders towns of Kelso, Melrose and Peebles are less than an hour’s drive away while the centre of Edinburgh is but a little over an hour distant by car. The beautiful east coast beaches are in as little as 30 mins.

This is an ideal location to explore East Berwickshire, with Coldingham Bay and St. Abbs Head National Nature Reserve nearby. Edinburgh is one hour away, famous for its Castle and festivals.
