The Sail Loft: lovely River views

Accessed by an outside wooden staircase, the Sail Loft has a very large window providing wonderful views across the water meadows of the River Avon. This is a lovely, light-filled but cosy large studio room. There’s a kitchenette and a woodburner for those winter evenings, and we’re on the edge of the New Forest with lots of beautiful walks and cycling routes all year round. There are so many good pubs locally, and we are also only a half-hour drive from the South coast and its beaches.

We are very happy to have guests host family gatherings and milestone celebrations at the property exceeding the eight guests who are staying at the Farmhouse, whilst respecting our house rules.

Dating from the 16th century, Stable Cottage adjoins the rest of the property but has its own front door and is a completely private and self contained space. Downstairs has an entrance hall, sitting room, with original beams and kitchen; upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one double and one single, bathroom and separate shower room. Perfect for 2/3 adults (3 adults max) or for a family with a baby/child. Close to Salisbury and the New Forest, it's the place to explore Wiltshire.

We are located approx. 25 minutes from Salisbury, 30 minutes to Bournemouth/Poole and 10 minutes to the New Forest. The Lodge is newly refurbished with all the facilities you should require during your stay with us. It's a great setting from which to explore, although with a well equipped kitchen and cosy woodburner, you may not venture anywhere!
