This is a one of a kind, tiny home built on a 1970 Chevrolet C50 farm truck! The truck is on a spacious private lot on the Tangipahoa River conveniently located 6 miles from Ponchatoula & 45 miles from New Orleans. The truck home is fully stocked for a perfect getaway including a kitchen, bathroom, queen bed in the bedroom, couch sleeper, AC/heat, an outside gazebo, and WIFI for remote work. The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time.
