Shodoshima, 30 seconds to the sea, you can see the sea from any room

This is a detached house located on the quiet seafront in Shodoshima Town. This house was built solely for the purpose of gazing at the sea and the sunset and enjoying the twilight. For that reason, we apologise for the large number of steps on the terrace stairs, but it can by no means be called barrier-free. (We will do everything we can to help you, such as assisting with your luggage.) However, at the top of the high terrace, the sparkling, calm, and beautiful sea of the Seto Inland Sea and the crimson evening sky, which changes its appearance every day, await you. Please lose track of time and enjoy an extraordinary experience. * We are currently not allowing pets to stay. If you would like to bring a pet, please contact us before making a reservation. You enter the room by climbing the stairs to the terrace. It is not barrier-free. An adult must always accompany young children when going up or down the stairs. Also, on rainy days, it may be inconvenient due to the large number of stairs. The road in front of the property is not paved. This may cause some inconvenience, but please bear with us. Because there is a lot of nature around the property, there are inevitably going to be insects. Insects may enter when windows and doors are opened and closed. (Especially at night, insects are attracted to the lights in the guesthouse.) We apologise for any inconvenience, but if you are uncomfortable with insects, please refrain from staying here.

This is a private rental traditional Japanese house that the owner, “JP,” who loves DIY, renovated himself, envisioning an ideal living space, in a 150-year-old traditional house. Perhaps the greatest asset of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a completely DIY sauna, designed and built entirely by JP, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Indulge in a sauna experience you can only enjoy here, enveloped in the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese sunken hearth, typical of an old kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. We offer a small Japanese house as a private lodging. There is no bed because the Japanese-style room is carpeted. It is spacious enough for about 3 people to sleep on futons. There is also a beautiful bathroom that is a renovated old Goemon bath and a small kitchen. It is about a 10-minute walk from Ieura Port.
