Lithia Villas - Folegandros-Villa Myrtia & pool

Welcome to LIthia. Villa Myrtia is one of 3 self-catering houses along with Villa Levanda and Villa Elia. It sleeps 5 people. It is a charming house with a double bed (160cm, 5'6") on the upper ground floor with a galley kitchen and bathroom. It has 2 terraces for outside dining. One facing the old windmills , the other to the garden and fields in the distance. The lower ground floor has 2 single beds and a traditional island stone couch-bed and a bathroom. There is a pool for the 3 houses. Wifi in all the houses and at the pool. Lithia is 15 minutes' walk ( 1.5 km) from the main village of Chora, said to be one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades. Folegandros is a hidden gem in the Aegean, it has remained unspoilt by commercial tourism and still retains the atmosphere of a by-gone age. You can still see the farmers ploughing the fields with mules and oxen and using donkeys instead of cars. It is a stunning island with dramatic cliffs and wonderful views. The air is pristine and in Springtime it is covered in a technicolour blanket of wild flowers. For many years it has been a very popular island with hill-walkers and artists alike. There are pretty beaches, each with its own identity, some sandy, some pebbly. Several are accessible by car, others by boat and a few only on foot, so the choice is yours. The wonderfully clear blue Aegean sea is ideal for snorkelling. We are happy to help with car/bike rental and any other questions you may have.

The miller's house

The miller's house is a 20 minute walk far from Chora, the main village of Folegandros. Its location is really special as it is among the old, traditional windmills of the island in a secluded and private spot. What makes the residence ideal is the fact that it is built right on the cliff, overlooking the endless blue of the Aegean Sea! The house can accommodate from 1 to 3 persons in a large and comfortable space offering all the necessary amenities for short or longer stays.

Our studios are located in Agkali beach, on of the most beautiful beaches of the island. The studios are just a few steps from the beach with many taverns and cafe. From this amazing beach, you can take the boat to Ag.Nikolaos and Livadaki beach. For those who love walking, a traditional path will lead you to the virgin beach of Galifos after a short walk. The view of steep rocks,which are harmoniously joined with the deep blue sea , will reward you!

Our villa, a typical building of the island of Folegandros, is just a 5-minute walk from Chora, the main village. The house is in a quiet location with a breathtaking view of Chora, the Panagia church, the Aegean Sea and its islands. The house is built from local stone, using traditional Cycladic techniques. The thick walls and the green roof keep the interior spaces cool without the need for an air conditioning system.

It consists of 2 bedrooms (with double bed), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. In the kitchen area there is also a sofa in single bed dimensions. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people.
