This Historic Tram offers a bespoke unique stay, it is quirky with lots of original features, carvings/fret work & quarter lights. Additions including woodburner, double bed, indoor/outdoor cooking, kitchen, fridge, microwave, bbq, LED lighting, veranda & seating, spectacular valley views, cradled by distant mountains & private garden. Separate flushing loo & hot shower. Built by the Wallasey Tram Co. in 1902.

The Red Train Carriage

The Red Train Carriage is a special place to stay next to the train tracks of The Swanage Railway. We believe it was built in about 1858 for GER as a 2nd class passenger carriage. It was just a shell when we got it, with it's original walls, doors, ceiling and floor, but the seating had been removed. There was only a few clues about its history in some of the doors and windows. We have saved as much of the original carriage as possible whilst making it a comfortable place to stay for a week.

Nestled into our working farm, this lovingly restored railway carriage is the perfect spot for a romantic stay away. The views are out of this world and all viewable from the large glass doors so you can stay tucked up in bed or on the sofa in front of the fire, with great wifi, free access to our beautiful sauna in the pool house (pool closed for winter!), beautiful walks both from the carriage or a short drive to the coast path, pub lunches, sunsets, fairy lights. It's a winter dream.
