Our place is located in a lovely, green, welcoming area, only 20 min away by car from the amazing historical city of Alba Iulia. Surrounded by mountains, wild forests and rivers, is the best place for adventurous people, groups of friends or families. We provide you a pool (during the summer time), fresh fruits from the garden and lots of options for hikes. One of the rooms retains an old bench from the former school, adding a special charm. This room has a private bathroom, maintaining the style of the village museum, but with all modern comforts. Thus, each guest will have a unique experience, enveloped by the story and tranquility of the Apuseni Mountains.

The upstairs room at the School is located above the kitchen and welcomes you with a queen-size bed, along with a bed for a child. The bathroom, located on the ground floor, retains modern comfort: it has a bidet, a bathtub, and the sink is an old wooden trough with a mirrored shelf made from an old window. From the window, you have a beautiful view of the entire valley, where the village of Glod is located, overlooking the Metaliferi Mountains.

Casa Glod -Scoala

Casa Școală was once a school in a mountain village in Maramureș, which we carefully transported to the Apuseni Mountains and gave a new life. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which also have a bidet. The houses retain the authentic charm of the village museum, but have all the comforts of today. Guests have free access to the sauna and the artificial salt room, equipped with a halogenerator, for complete relaxation.

The downstairs room at the School is a charming little retreat with a separate entrance, just for you. The king-size bed awaits you comfortably, and the bell-shaped stove warms the entire room with its traditional lejeancă (a bench heated by the stove). The bathroom is inside, keeping the same style as the village museum, with a discreet bidet. Here, you will truly feel the spirit of the Apuseni Mountains.
