Our place is an entire basement unit, with your own private bedroom, bathroom, and living room. Its a 15min walk down to the lake, or up to the hilltop market. Its the perfect space for couples, solo adventures or business travellers. Margi and I love to travel and meet new people to exchange stories. Or you may also have all the privacy you wish since the the lower level is self contained. Also if you like feel welcome to take advantage of our upper deck with a breathtaking view of Lake Taupo.

The guest suite is bright, sunny, and maintained to a high standard, with blackout blinds for privacy, darkness, and temperature control. A sliding door separates the bathroom from the bedroom, and we provide a heater or portable fan depending on the season. The space includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, herbal tea, instant coffee, and basic tableware. Please note there are NO cooking facilities (no oven or microwave), making this space ideal for breakfast, simple snacks and beverages.

Gazing over the Ruapehu plateau is KUBO - our newly built little house on a hill. We offer our bespoke private guest suite called “Fantail Suite”. Enjoy coffee from the lounge at sunrise, relax in bed as the sun sets or stargaze from the deck on a beautiful night. Located between Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks. A short drive to Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields yet outside the ‘busyness’ of ski town Ohakune. Ideal for a couple or a solo adventurer. NO CLEANING FEE.

Semi detached sunny compact studio joined to main dwelling by deck located on our lifestyle section. Studio has a deck divided from the main dwelling by a screen for privacy. Private entrance/lock box. Kitchenette, continental breakfast provisions on first morning supplied - microwave available (no stove top or oven) . There is a TV with chrome cast only. There is no free to air TV, Netflix etc). Off street park. You will need a car as there is no public transport.
