Opende lies in the Friese Wouden The airBNB is located in our yard on the border of Groningen and Friesland. Walking and cycling can be done in the nearby nature reserves of Alde Feanen, Bakkeveen, Beetsterzwaag and Lauwersmeer. A day in Ameland or Schiermonnikoog is also great to do. Culture can be gained in Groningen, Leeuwarden and Heerenveen (about 25 minutes). Surhuisterveen is about 2 km away and has a shopping center with supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of shops. You must arrange breakfast yourself.

Comfortable Waterfront Chalet! Take a step back in this unique, soothing place to stay. With fantastic views over Lake Leekster, it is a great place to stay here 12 months a year. For the colder evenings, there is not only central heating but also a wood stove and for the warmer days there is an air conditioning available. In the middle of nature reserve de Onlanden, so lots of hiking and biking fun in the beautiful nature. Close to the city of Groningen and cozy villages of Leek, Roderwolde and Roden

Close to Groningen in nature. With Sauna and gym

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

Wake up in the last century at the Marthahoeve!

Back in time with the comfort of today. And you sleep in one of three bed cities! There is underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove. You have a private entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet room. Breakfast is possible for 13 euros pp. Please note : the bed cities are smaller than a double bed . The 2 bed cities in the room are 200x115 and the bedstee in the kitchen is 190x120

A little shack.

Next to our monumental farm on the yard, this small accommodation is easy and not too expensive to stay in. Sanitary facilities and a common area are located in the farmhouse. The estate borders the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is within 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can shop deliciously and have a choice of several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 minutes away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 minutes by public transport.

The mobile home has a nice view of the meadows and is located on the west side of the campsite. The mobile home can accommodate up to 4 people. We have a nice double bed. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The mobile home has a spacious seating area. The kitchen has a 4-burner gas stove, coffee maker. A bathroom is available in the mobile home.

Sleeping in a tiny house avant la lettre. We can do that. Our newly renovated cottage offers a separate living room and bedroom floor, is basic yet full of comforts. Located in the old and rural Enumatil, this is the ideal place for a quiet (nature) holiday or mini break. In the immediate vicinity there are beautiful cycling routes and forest, hei or Groningen city can be found within a fifteen minute drive.

HVJ-Ezinge Lodging in Westerkwartier

Next to the former Wierde museum on the Torenstraat in Ezinge is the former Green Cross building. What used to be the "consultation agency", we converted into a fully-fledged apartment. There we offer a spacious living room with lots of light, a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, a toilet and a ‘private’ entrance. Please note: Basically no breakfast! (unless in consultation)

The bedstee in the heart of the north!

You are welcome in our cozy apartment that is very centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is located 15 minutes from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful scenery. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. In a half hour drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where the boat leaves for Schiermonnikoog.
