The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Horst's time out

My time-out Horst stands for real picture book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the tranquility, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. Here you can expect a real beach and a delicious snack and suitable refreshment is available here in summer. Hamburg is also 30 minutes away. In about 3 km away is the Horster train stop. Here is a parking lot and bicycle parking.

The detached apartment is located in Kellinghusen in the immediate vicinity of the Stör and the Aukrug Nature Park. The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offer many opportunities for outdoor activities, such as canoeing and cycling excursions. The outdoor pool of Kellinghusen is right nearby. Wrist Train Station with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is just 5 km away.

The apartment is 20 square meters and we live right next door. On foot it takes about 25 minutes (1.7 km) to Quickborn train station. However, two bikes are also available to you free of charge.

The accommodation was newly renovated in March 2025. The quiet residential area invites you to relax. If you want to go to the city center or to the train station, you can take the bus, which is within walking distance in 5 minutes. For quiet walks, the forest is very close.

Quiet and centrally located accommodation in the historic half-timbered building from 1746. The building is a listed building and is the oldest residential building in Barmstedt. The entire place is at your disposal, including kitchen and private bathroom with shower.
