The Post Office transports you to another time and place, our heritage-listed accomodation is the heart of the beautiful town of Waratah. Opposite the Waratah Waterfall, The Post Office offers views of Mount Pearce and the expansive Happy Valley, which stretches out into the Tarkine wilderness. Waratah is nestled in a wilderness-rich pocket of Tasmania's North West and is the perfect base from which to explore the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and the ancient Tarkine wilderness.

The Top Paddock

Welcome to the top paddock! This is glamping with a side of real camping in the Tasmanian bush. Goats and sheep will stroll around and you have over 20 acres all to yourself to explore. We're located up a gravel road on the north west coast, you won't find any other tourists here. Soak in the wood fired tub, under the blackwood tree. Cosy up to the wood fire, roasting marshmallows in your star Gazer yurt. A comfy queen bed and a backyard of adventure, its a Tasmanian version of luxury camping.

As of the 15th of September we will charge $150 per night for one guest and $50 per night each additional. The end result is that it’s cheaper for our guests. We only ever have 1 booking at a time, so it’s yours and private. We live on site and are happy to help. Your accommodation is segregated and totally private. NO parties, NO smoking. Please be respectful of our property. Fully equipped kitchen, plus washing machine & dryer. Please DO NOT place hot pots or pans on our laminate bench tops.
