Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the pond, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Pets not allowed.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Tree of Life River Retreat

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). There's a private bedroom with a queen bed and another sleeping area with four twin beds, perfect for one person or a family. Relax, enjoy nature, and take advantage of our large backyard. We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

River's Edge Cabin-Riverfront Acres/DISH/WiFi

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.
