North View Barn

Nord Vue Barn is conveniently situated in the Lakeland village of Penruddock, which benefits from very easy access to the M6. The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. The cottage encourages a hygge-style approach to cosiness, relaxation and wellbeing.

Bridge End, Martindale, Ullswater

Near the end of the road close to the south east side of Ullswater, escape from it all in this 17th Century cottage with river frontage. With 25 years of wonderful holidays there we hope we’ve thought of everything should the Cumbrian weather keep you indoors. There’s ping pong, a full-sized snooker table, darts, table football, countless games and the famous (at least in our household) Bridge End Beech Curling in the barn. In 2.5 acres of its own land, sometimes shared with sheep and red deer.

The property is has amazing views of Ullswater and surrounding fells. Situated in the hamlet of Watermillock, five miles from Glenridding and three miles from Pooley Bridge. It has a large car park and a terrace for you to sit and enjoy the view. Keswick is twenty minutes away and Windermere forty minutes.

Garden Flat, Ullswater: Fabulous views and reviews

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic place nestled in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. Within handy reach of the fells from the farm and a short drive from Keswick. We have a variety of animals grazing in the fields and fresh farm eggs available. The Nest, sleeps two adults only, a patio to sit out on and barbecue, use of a shared washing machine/tumble dryer and shared games room. The village has a pub & a small shop. A 5 minute drive from the historic market town of Penrith which has a selection of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants & amenities. Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).
