We are on Capitol Hill, a short walk to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and the National Mall with its iconic memorials, Smithsonian Museums and National Gallery of Art. Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. Within blocks are many restaurants, shops and the Metro. On street parking is free, a two night stay is minimum. Thank you!

Bright and cheerful with a well-equipped kitchen, living, dining area and a pull-out double sofa. The bedroom is spacious with 2 large closest's and a washer and dryer in the unit. Walking distance to 2 metros (Dupont & U St), 3 grocery stores, unlimited restaurants, movie, clubs and live theatre, all on a quiet tree-lined block.

Beautifully decorated and spacious home in a charming, Alexandria neighborhood near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party or an event, this is not the place for you.

Special note: this is our full-time home. We live here and our personal things remain here throughout your stay.
