La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. The open floor plan layout is the former home to an ice cream shop built in 2010, with a brand new kitchen and island peninsula, with a view to the lake. This loft-style space is perfect for two people (but could accommodate more kids on pull-out couches for up to 5 people to share). This can be rented solo or in combination with the upstairs cottage apartment!

Potluck String Lodge (PSL) is situated within Prairie Island Campground along the Mississippi River. With cottony sheets, coffee & towels, paddle sport equipment & bikes, and an outdoor fire ring, you can simply show-up, relax, reconnect, and recreate. This tiny house tells a story about the Boats and Bluegrass music festival and one of the campground picking circles hosted by the Potluck String Band.

Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.
