The Viking bike path passes directly by the house, also suitable for horseback riding.

Eckernförde and Kappeln are each just 15 km away, to the Baltic Sea beach it is 3 km, the Baltic Sea resort of Damp, with numerous leisure activities, 7 km.

The Baltic Sea (9 km), Wittensee (7 km) Bistensee (6.5 km) and the Schlei (8 km) are not too far away. The cities of Eckernförde, Schleswig and Rendsburg can be reached in 6 - 20 minutes by car.
