The kitchen is well equipped, but there is no dishwasher. Coffee and tea included. The apartment has free Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. A sea of hiking possibilities right outside the door or a short drive around Sunnmøre/Nordfjord to visit famous attractions both summer and winter. Do you need peace and quiet? Large sofa and TV with many channels (football) large terrace with outdoor furniture and a very peaceful neighborhood. Here you can hear the birds chirping and the bumblebee buzzing.

Exotic with an outhouse! Water in the stream, light and heat from paraffin stoves, paraffin lamps and candles. Cooking on gas burners. At Trollvassbu, the days can be slow and the thoughts long-term. After a short time, stress will melt away. The presence of the mountain and the cabin must be experienced – or lived.

In the historic Bakketunet provides space for both relaxation and outdoors activities. In the middle of the Sunnmøre Alps! Within an hour driving your can reach Stryn, Loen, Stranda, Hellessylt, Volda, and Øye. And it is not fare from Ålesund. Stay for shorter or longer periods. In summer, Bakketunet is open to individual visitors with cultural programs and activities. Among other things, is the Indiefjord music festival. The famous knitting brand Hjørundfjordstrikk is located here.

Kapteinåsen, Sæbø

Cozy holiday home with amazing views of Hjørundfjorden. Several patios/terraces, fire pit and barbecue. Outdoor jacuzzi for 5-6 people. The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.

Volda, home with views in rural surroundings, 1st floor

The decor is a mix of retro, old treasures and a little new. Duvets and pillows are mostly new. Can provide thinner ones if desired. We live in the countryside, our village is called Hjartåbygda, 10 min by car from Volda city center. There is no public transport, so you should have your own car. Nice hiking area right outside the door, marked trails. Otherwise quiet and peaceful. Right by the lake, and by car it is not far to many of Sunnmøre's beautiful mountains.
