Free car ferry takes you easily here and into central Gothenburg. Fotö belongs to Öckerö Municipality consisting of ten islands, with the proximity to the sea as a matter of course. From Fotö you can reach the other nine islands, either by bridge or ferry. You also have the proximity to grocery store, shopping, restaurants about 3 km from Fotö.

We are renting our cabin which is a real pearl all year round. The location is perfect with 5-10 minutes walk to salt baths and nice viewpoints. With the car you get in 20 minutes to Marstrand and 35 minutes to Gothenburg and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated during the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a patio with terrace that has a sea view. The house suit families with children, friends and couples. Max 4 adults but more if they are children.

Our little guesthouse is cosy and quite, in the end of the "street". It is simple, estetic and easy to like. The veranda gives you possibility to look at the boat passing by to Denmark and Gothenburg. If you like to get inspirated och to take long walks, this is a perfect place for You. We have a couple of restaurants on the island and help You find the best places to bath, walk and eat. Quiet and close to nature.
