Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

After a day in one of these busy cities, it is a wonderful place to relax. You imagine yourself in an oasis of peace in the middle of nature, while you can still see Amsterdam on the horizon. The cottage is equipped with every luxury. You can also explore the lake further by boat. Swimming and fishing are also possible.

This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

In consultation, you can also rent our sloop (boat license required). Children are welcome if they have a swimming certificate.
