Haverdal Nature Reserve with Scandinavia's highest sand dune and beautiful hiking trails can be found on your way to the sea.

The Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the northern part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower, Palmhuset. This is a very unique building where you get a place to stay like no other. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stucco, murals, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a stone patio with Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house are Hjelmsjön's nice tennis courts. In the winter months, it can get a little cold, then you can crawl up on the couch and light a fire in the stove.

Träskhuset

Träskhuset is an architect-designed house built in 2023. It is built of cross-glued wood and stands on posts in a swamp with the beech forest as the closest neighbor. In winter, you are surrounded by water, in summer, high vegetation. Here you live in a stylish house overlooking the forest. Design by Sorgenfri Build Concept. Free parking on a shared driveway. Electric vehicle charging available. The house is about 50 meters from our own house. Happy children's screams can therefore sometimes be heard nearby.

You’ll have two patios, one facing east and one west, start your day with sunrise breakfasts and end it with sunset dinners. Stay on a farm in 2022. Newly built stone house in a beautiful surroundings and with a great view of landscape and sea. A unique accommodation experience with ideal conditions for tranquility, proximity to nature and all the excursions of the Bjäre peninsula. During 2025 we have not finished the nearest environment around the house but a terrace with outdoor furniture is available. We provide linens and towels. If you want us to take care of the final cleaning, it costs SEK 600.
