Vallecito Log Cabin with a View

Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

An open living space features warm wood accents and natural lighting. A spacious kitchen bar is complemented by a dining area with rustic wooden tables. Soft seating is arranged around the living area with large windows overlooking the surrounding nature.

Beautiful Log Mountain Home with a View

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

The living area features a spacious sectional couch dressed in gray fabric, accompanied by vibrant red and black throw blankets. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room, showcasing wooden beams and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. Decorative elements include framed photos and artwork.

The Bunk House

This uniquely comfortable cabin is super cute and refreshingly FUN !!! With Vallecito Lake views and direct access, via a walk, off your own comfortable private deck. The large master bedroom is a perfect romantic retreat. If kids or extra family are in the mix, they will love the bunk house loft it will surely please with its 3 comfortable beds! (Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height & ladder steps.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

The Perfect Place

This log cabin style house has great views with deck, hot tub, fenced in back yard, backyard chickens, and is walking distance to Lake Simpatico and two playgrounds for children. The location is great for those wanting to enjoy Durango (20 mi) and Pagosa (50 mi) . If you are into fishing, hiking, hunting, paddle boarding, etc. this spot is perfect (there are many lakes nearby). The house is also right between Purgatory Resort (one hour north) and Wolf Creek Ski Area (one hour south).

A spacious wooden deck is surrounded by tall trees, offering a serene outdoor space. Comfortable wicker chairs are placed around a central table, while potted flowers add a touch of color. Large windows of the cabin provide a view of the lush, green landscape beyond.

Cozy little house on several acres of flat ground. Easy access to this nicely maintained property located on a paved road. The property is well kept with beautiful views off the bluff at the back of the property. It is an attractive and relaxing setting with convenient access to the many attractions of the Durango area. Distances to popular places: 5 minute drive to the edge of Durango. 16 minute drive to the Durango & Silverton Railroad. 18 minute drive to Durango regional airport.

A cute cabin with an ideal location. It is easy to find, and it is just off the county road with plenty of parking space. Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. The front porch offers beautiful views of the mountain and lake, and you can also enjoy the lakeside view from the dining table. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter.
