The main house had seasonal flowers painted on the waist panel of the barrier, and the sliding doors had people, high-level calligraphy, and handwritten notes showing interaction with the nearby village headman. Kondaya's garden has a 300-year-old oak tree, camellias, silver trees, and pines, and a spring flows from the corner of the garden all year round. Trees that change their appearance with the seasons, mossy garden stones, and soothing water. Yatsuka, the third generation head of the Konda family, who was also active as a singer, would have sung while looking at this beautiful scenery. The ultimate hideaway to escape the noisy, busy city, and spend time quietly with family, loved ones, and close friends, just watching the sea. I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.
