Enjoy a cup of coffee and a round of yatzy in front of the fireplace, a good book in the rocking chair overlooking the fjord or breakfast on the terrace. Bring your swimwear and stroll down to the beach or try your luck fishing on the quay. Pack your backpack and find a mountain top. Playground and football field can be found right next to the house. 15 min to the nearest grocery store in Valen. 25 min to the center of Husnes. 50 min to Rosendal and the beautiful barony.

"The blue nest" Solbakken Microhouse

Enjoy the nature and the views you get when you get up to the top of this newly built Microhouse. This is the highest of the two Microhouses in Solbakken, where they are both located in the surroundings of animals and art. Gallery Solbakkestova with its beautiful sculpture garden is located just next to the house. Goats graze in front, and you can see alpacas on the other side. The house is located in a rural area, but is close to the city center and bus. Walking and cycling paths pass by, and the hiking trail up to Liafjellet is close by.
