Don't pass up an opportunity to stay at Quinta de Marrocos. Leading up to our stay, Catarina was incredibly responsive and careful to answer our questions regarding travel logistics -- she even offered to pick us up from the train station in Regua upon arrival. Quinta de Marrocos was a very unique experience! Very charming and in an idyllic setting! Please ask about and book tastings and tours before arriving. You don’t want to miss out like we did! Be ready for some friendly puppy visits and to spend some time on the balcony, you won’t regret it!

This is a beautiful former monastery, nicely converted to an old farmhouse. It is a winery on a steep hillside overlooking a beautiful view of the Douro River. They offer winery tour, a generous port wine tasting, and a dinner with wine as an extra. Would not work for anyone seriously disabled, as it is on a steep hillside with cobblestones and stairs. Power went off several times. I highly recommend this as a relaxing stay.

There is a relaxed and welcoming ambience here that you feel upon arrival as the staff are warm and welcoming. Our dinner and wine tour were great and we enjoyed the lovely breakfasts as well. Table was laden with fruits, jams and honeys produced right at the Quinta and fresh orange juice from their own orange trees. Lovely views from the Terrace. A really comfortable place that our group really enjoyed. Port tasting not to be missed!

Very charming room in the winery, with an option of wine tour, tasting and dinner, if you inform them early enough (by 2 pm the day of). Very clean with a gorgeous view from the window. Morning communal breakfast had a very nice rustic touch too

Wow! What a fantastic experience it was, staying at the quinta. Delicious dinner, beautiful view, I loved the dogs, the tour, the winetasting, the living room with the fireplace. I can go on a while haha. If I’m in the neighbourhood, I will definitely come back!! We also ordered some bottles of wine, they can ship it to your home-address.

This is grape farm, and that was a lot of activities for guests - excursion on vineyard, lection about porto vines, excellent dinner, and as main - porto testing. We thanks for everything the farm team and especially for the main actor - Caesar. Good luck for them!
