This is a really nice house if you want to be away from it all but still want to have the opportunity to visit Sintra/Lisbon and the beautiful coast. We were with 12 old friends from University escaping daily family life and work obligations. We had a relaxing time and were friendly welcomed by Pedro and is his wife with lovely local appetizers. They also have good suggestions for restaurants and places to visit!

SUPER ! Nous avons passé une semaine à 11 personnes dans cette fabuleuse villa. Tout est très agréable que ce soit l’emplacement, l’orientation ou les équipements de la maison, ce qui fait de la villa un endroit exceptionnel. Tout est très fonctionnel et avec beaucoup de charme. La piscine est gigantesque tout comme le jardin. La propreté de la maison, des draps et des serviettes est aussi à souligner. Merci encore pour ce super séjour !

The place was very nice. Garden is outstanding, quiet, green with big swimingpool. Great place to stay a lot on the fresh air.

A lovely villa near Sintra. Perfect for family and friends. We loved the the quietness of the location but still easy to get to the coast and Lisbon itself (with a car and also plenty of Uber's in the area). Great host communication toped off with a lovely welcome basket.

We hebben er een heerlijke week gehad met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen. Een leuk huis met prachtige tuin en zwembad in een rustige omgeving. Vlakbij leuke strandjes, bakker en lokale supermarktjes. Een auto is wel noodzakelijk. Wij hadden in oktober heerlijk weer. Pedro is een super gastheer, we werden verwelkomt met een hapje en een drankje. Ook haalde hij ons op toen we het laatste stukje niet konden vinden!.

We spent family vacation in casa das Xaras in September, four couples and three babies. The house and the huge beautiful garden surround it were indulge and pleasant, so the participants has the opportunity for privacy and at the same time for togetherness. The bedrooms are spaciousness, each one has bathroom inside or nearby and the public spaces are cozy and attractive.
